Day 1 on the Guest Experience AI Manager path.

What a Guest Experience AI Manager does

Runs the guest-facing AI for a hotel or hospitality brand, like chatbots and virtual concierges, so first replies feel fast, warm, and on-brand. Decides what the bot can answer and when a real person should take over.

  • Set what the chatbot can and cannot answer for guests
  • Decide when the bot hands a guest to a human
  • Train the bot on brand voice, tone, and hotel policies
  • Watch guest sentiment, complaints, and bot mistakes every day
  • Test new chat replies before they go live to guests
  • Connect the bot to booking and room systems for accurate answers
  • Review chat logs to find gaps and confusing replies
  • Work with front desk teams so handoffs feel smooth

A day in the life

  1. Check overnight chat logs, complaints, and any bot errors first
  2. Review guest sentiment scores and flag replies that upset people
  3. Test a new chat flow and fix wording before release
  4. Meet front desk and marketing teams on tone and handoff rules
  5. Tune which questions the bot escalates to a human
  6. Close out with notes on fixes and tomorrow's tests
