What a Calibration Technician does

Calibrates and verifies measuring instruments for labs, factories, and service teams so results stay accurate, safe, and traceable.

  • Inspect instruments and review calibration history and requirements
  • Set up standards and test points to check measurement accuracy
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts to bring instruments within tolerance
  • Document results, uncertainty, and traceability in calibration records

  1. Check the schedule, gather standards, and plan the day by priority and due dates
