What a Soldier does

Trains and serves in armed forces units to protect people and national interests through security, relief, and logistics support.

  • Train for missions through drills, fitness, and skills practice
  • Follow orders and standard procedures to complete assigned tasks safely
  • Operate and maintain personal gear, vehicles, and field equipment
  • Support security operations such as patrols, checkpoints, and site protection
  • Provide basic first aid and casualty care until medical help arrives
  • Set up field positions, shelters, and communications in changing conditions
  • Move supplies, load equipment, and support transport and distribution
  • Report observations, complete logs, and communicate status to the team
