What a School Counselor does

Helps students succeed in school by supporting wellbeing, solving problems, and guiding academic and career choices.

  • Meet students one-on-one to discuss goals, stress, behavior, and school challenges
  • Run small groups on topics like study skills, friendships, bullying, and coping
  • Support academic planning: course choices, graduation needs, and learning strategies
